What is Apex Drawdown Zero?
A fully automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 with built-in equity drawdown protection: hard daily and overall loss limits, risk-based position sizing, and news/session/spread filters. Designed for prop firm challenges, funded accounts and personal accounts alike.
Which platforms are supported?
MetaTrader 5 only. There is no MT4 build.
Does it work on any broker?
Any MT5 broker or prop firm platform. Symbol settings are configurable per broker naming (EURUSD vs EURUSD.a etc.).
Is it a martingale/grid EA?
No. Fixed-fractional risk, hard stop on every order, no averaging into losers.
Licensing
How many accounts can I use?
One MT5 account per license at a time. You can rebind to a different account number yourself in the client portal, instantly and as often as needed.
How long is the license valid?
It is a permanent (lifetime) license — a one-time purchase that never expires and includes all future updates. No renewal needed.
What if I get a new funded account?
Log into the portal, change the MT5 account number on your license, restart the EA. Done.
Payments
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card (Stripe), PayFast (South Africa), manual bank EFT, and USDT. Card and PayFast deliver your license instantly; manual methods are confirmed by our team.
Do you offer refunds?
Digital software is delivered instantly, so sales are final once downloaded — except for unresolved technical faults within 14 days. See the refund policy for details.
Technical
Do I need a VPS?
Strongly recommended for 24/5 operation. Any Windows VPS that runs MT5 works — see our VPS setup guide on the blog.
The EA is not trading — is it broken?
Usually it is standing aside by design: drawdown pause, session filter, news window or spread filter. The Help Center has a checklist.
How do updates work?
We publish new builds in your client portal with a changelog; you get a notification and can download immediately.
